Research Interest

The main field of my investigations is the homogamy in human mate choice. During the current surveys I try to obtain informations about the effect of self-resemblance on facial preferences. The ultimate objective is to support further evidence about sexual imprinting in humans, i.e. the preference for sexual partners similar to the opposite sex parent. I have the additional objective to reveal the correlation between facial preferences and alternative sexual strategies. The ongoing empirical researches are supported by a strong IT background.
